The Florida Chapter of the American Horticultural Therapy Association, Inc. (FAHTA) is a nonprofit professional organization dedicated to the promotion of horticulture as a therapeutic, rehabilitative, recreational and vocational activity for people of all ages, abilities and needs, The mission of the chapter is to advance the practice of horticulture as therapy to improve human well-being.

The Florida Chapter is an affiliate of the American Horticultural Therapy Association, (AHTA). Membership in AHTA is not required for membership in the Florida Chapter, but is highly recommended.


Membership is open to anyone interested in the advancement of horticulture and related activities as a therapeutic and rehabilitative tool in a professional setting.
